About Degree

Add the Arts to your resume

You don’t have to sacrifice your interest in the Arts. At the University of APSB, we support broad learning and insight across fields. With our diploma, you can pursue an Arts major while completing an undergraduate degree outside the Arts realm.

What will you do?

Our Diploma in Arts is equal to a full major (24 units). If you’re enrolled in another undergraduate degree, this generally adds a year to your time at university.

The diploma offers all the Arts majors listed in the Bachelor of Arts entry, other than: language studies, Mathematical Sciences, and Psychology. Unlike in the Bachelor of Arts, a major in Liberal Arts is available through the diploma.

Where could it take you?

If you’ve already finished a Bachelor degree, the Diploma in Arts can complement your studies in a range of ways. You might need to ‘upskill’ for professional development purposes (e.g. secondary school teachers). You might want to do an Honours year or further postgraduate study in this new field. Perhaps you’re just interested in having a unique perspective and greater employability.
