On February 12, 2025, Prof. PhD Supervisor. DONG Guirong was officially appointed as a doctoral supervisor by The Asia Pacific School of Business, Vice Chairman of the Degree Committee, and leader of the Acupuncture Research Group.

Prof. PhD Supervisor. DONG Guirong, male, chief physician, professor, doctoral supervisor, postdoctoral co-supervisor, famous Chinese medicine doctor in Shanghai, instructor of the fifth and sixth batches of old Chinese medicine experts in the country, enjoys special allowance issued by the State Council. He is currently the vice chairman of the National Acupuncture Standardization Technical Committee, the vice chairman of the Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Inheritance Committee of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies, the director of the Acupuncture Inheritance Base of the Chinese Acupuncture Society, and the vice chairman of the Shanghai Acupuncture Society. He has won the title of National Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions, the Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions of the Ministry of Health, and the National Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Scientific and Technological Worker of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. He has served as the chairman of the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Branch of the Chinese Acupuncture Society, the vice chairman of the Expert Committee of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies, a visiting professor of Chinese medicine colleges in the United States, Canada, Russia, Singapore and other countries, and a senior consultant of acupuncture societies.
