XU Ping was officially appointed as a doctoral supervisor by The Asia Pacific School of Business, Executive Vice Dean of the Joint Graduate School of Traditional Medicine, Deputy Director of the Degree Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Academic Ethics and Moral Review Committee.

Prof. PhD Supervisor. XU Ping is a professor at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a doctoral supervisor, a postdoctoral co-supervisor, deputy director of the National Acupuncture Literature Professional Committee, a member of the Inheritance Working Committee of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies, a representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage of acupuncture, and the head of the Inheritance Studio of Li Ding, a national famous senior Chinese medicine expert of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the head of a national excellent teaching team, an excellent teaching teacher in Shanghai universities, a tutor of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission's high-level talent training project combining Chinese and Western medicine, a distinguished consultant to the Institute of Chinese and Western Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, a distinguished professor of the "Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic" course at the School of Lifelong Education of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a member of the Technical Steering Committee for Modern Medical Education of the Ministry of Education, a reviewer of "Chinese Acupuncture", and the chief physician of the Acupuncture Department of Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
