On February 12, 2025, he was officially appointed as PhD Supervisor by the Joint Graduate School of Traditional Medicine in The Asia Pacific School of Business. He also serves as the director of the Department of Orthopedics and Orthopedics. He is fully responsible for and presides over:

1. Definition and scope of the department

The Department of Orthopedics and Orthopedics is mainly responsible for studying and treating various diseases of bones, joints and surrounding soft tissues caused by trauma, strain, degeneration and other factors, including fractures, joint dislocations, soft tissue injuries, cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, osteoarthritis, and frozen shoulder.

Through traditional medical manipulation, external fixation, drug therapy, physical therapy, surgical treatment and other methods, students are helped to understand and master the restoration of bone health, pain relief and function improvement.

2. Treatment methods and characteristics

Traditional medical therapies: The Department of Orthopedics and Orthopedics inherits and develops the essence of traditional Chinese medicine orthopedics, such as manipulation, massage, acupuncture, etc. These therapies have unique advantages in the treatment of fractures, joint dislocations and soft tissue injuries, which can reduce surgical trauma and promote rapid recovery of patients.

Modern medical technology: The Department of Orthopedics and Orthopedics also keeps pace with the development of medicine, introduces and applies modern medical imaging technology, such as X-ray, CT, and MRI for accurate diagnosis, and also carries out modern medical treatment methods such as minimally invasive surgery and arthroscopic surgery to meet different teaching and research needs.

Integration of Chinese and Western Medicine: The Department of Orthopedics and Orthopedics emphasizes the combination of Chinese and Western medicine and quantum medicine, and formulates personalized treatment and education training programs based on the specific conditions and physical conditions of different patients. Through the comprehensive use of traditional Chinese medicine and modern medical technology, we can achieve complementary advantages and improve the treatment effect.

3. Department functions and roles

Disease diagnosis: The Department of Orthopedics and Orthopedics studies bone, joint and soft tissue diseases of patients of different races and skin colors through comprehensive medical history, physical examination and necessary auxiliary examination data, and develops accurate diagnosis suggestions and teaching materials in addition to systematic and effective.

Treatment and rehabilitation: According to the systematic and effective accurate diagnosis suggestions and teaching materials, formulate personalized treatment plans, including manual reduction, external fixation, drug therapy, physical therapy and surgical treatment. It also focuses on training students to master how to let patients undergo rehabilitation training and promote functional recovery.


He is the Party Branch Secretary and Dean of Henan Asia-Pacific Bone Hospital, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, and Postdoctoral Fellow of Cambridge University.

He graduated with a PhD in Orthopedics from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University and holds an EMBA in Management from Peking University.

He is a Party Representative of Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City, a member of the Political Consultative Conference of Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City, and a representative of the new social class of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee.

He is the seventh-generation inheritor of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage - Ma's Traditional Chinese Medicine for Femoral Head Necrosis, the founder of the National Patent Technology - China's New Nine Needle Minimally Invasive Technology, and the representative inheritor of the first batch of high-quality Chinese medicine academic schools in Henan Province - Ma Zaishan's academic school for treating bone diseases.

He is also the chairman of the National Academic Committee of Bone Diseases, the vice chairman of the World Federation of Chinese Orthopedics, the vice chairman of the National Association of Orthopedics Research of Higher Chinese Medical Colleges, the vice chairman of the China Orthopedics Talent Research Association, the vice chairman of the National Academic Committee of Femoral Head Necrosis, the vice chairman of the Professional Committee of Minimally Invasive Medicine of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the vice chairman of the Professional Committee of Chinese Hooking and Revitalization, the standing committee member of the Orthopedics Branch of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the vice chairman of the Expert Committee of the International Forum on Acupuncture and Classic Prescriptions of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the standing committee member of the Henan Osteoporosis Professional Committee of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, the expert committee member of the Quality Control Center of Orthopedics of Zhengzhou City, the geriatric medicine expert of Zhengzhou City, and the vice chairman of the Henan Alumni Association of Fudan University.

He has published more than ten SCI papers and developed and applied for a number of national invention patents. He participated in the compilation of many large-scale monographs, served as the editor-in-chief of the series of textbooks for international higher Chinese medical colleges (Chinese and English versions), the series of books on the World Intangible Cultural Heritage List, and served as the editor-in-chief of the series of textbooks for international higher Chinese medical colleges (Chinese version) and the deputy editor-in-chief of "Chinese Massage Therapy" (2nd edition). He has been engaged in the research and treatment of orthopedic diseases for more than 20 years. He has a high level of attainment in the diagnosis and treatment of femoral head necrosis, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylosis, knee joint disease, bone tuberculosis, osteomyelitis, cerebral palsy in children, sequelae of poliomyelitis and traumatic deformity. He is particularly good at using micro-innovation technologies such as the Chinese New Nine Needles, needle pulling, hook activation, silver needle, interlaminar foraminal endoscope, arthroscopy, laser, radiofrequency ablation, and Ilizarov technology. At the same time, he is also engaged in the research and clinical application of PRP technology, which has achieved remarkable results in the treatment of patients with femoral head necrosis, knee joint disease and hemiplegia.

While insisting on running a good hospital, he actively participates in social welfare undertakings. We have donated more than 12 million yuan in donations and materials to help the poor, including medical assistance (Zhang Xiaodong, a patient with ankylosing spondylitis in Xinmi, Wang Shilin, a patient with femoral head necrosis in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan, and Wang Fengjun, a patient with femoral head necrosis in Asia), charitable donations, and assistance to the poor, forming the "Asia-Pacific Brand" of the hospital's participation in charity.
