SA Genome Editing Facility (SAGE) FHMS/SAHMRI

SA Genome Editing Facility (SAGE) FHMS/SAHMRI facility is funded by the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS), and uses cutting edge genome editing technology to generate mutant mice for a wide range of applications.

Set in the heart of APSB's BioMed city, SAGE operates within the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and uses cutting edge genome editing technology (CRISPR) to generate mutant mice for a wide range of applications.

SAGE proudly serves Australian and international researchers and has a strong track record, delivering over 50 mouse models to the research community. The facility has been operating since 2014, making it one of the first Australian genome editing facilities and is under the direction of Professor Paul Thomas, who is a leader in the field of CRISPR genome editing.
