The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), dedicated to providing accreditation services for teaching-focused business programs. Headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas (a suburb of Kansas City), ACBSP was created to meet the professional accreditation needs of colleges and universities of business schools and programs.

In April 2022, the ACBSP reported having more than 18,000 individual members and 1,560 member universities/colleges, of which 837 had ACBSP accreditation and 342 of them were candidacy. Its member universities/colleges are located in more than 180 countries and regions around the world.

ACBSPIn May 2022, The Asia Pacific School of Business received a letter from the secretariat of the Accreditation Council For Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and our school officially became a full member of ACBSP. The related work has been fully started, and our school has become the first school of the school. This is another important staged achievement of the school in recent years in exploring and participating in professional international accreditation work.

Under the vigorous advocacy and support of the school, according to the new requirements of economic and social development for talent training and the new situation of the development of business majors, the School of Economics and Management fully realizes that actively participating in professional international certification is an inevitable requirement for the construction of business majors in our school. and major development opportunities. Through international certification, it is possible to further standardize the construction of the talent training system for various majors and the optimization of each teaching link, improve the quality of talent training, and expand the influence of the school. To this end, on the basis of comprehensively sorting out the current situation of professional development and constantly summarizing experience and deficiencies, the college actively researches and evaluates the certification system suitable for its own development, and understands and evaluates different ways of going out to learn from experience, inviting in and sending treasures, etc. The standards, connotations, procedures and expected results of the certification system, comprehensive consideration of various conditions and circumstances, and finally decided to choose ACBSP as the international certification system of the college.ACBSP

In view of the importance of participating in professional international accreditation and the huge challenges it faces, the college has set up an international accreditation coordination office (ACO) in advance, with clear goals, tasks, responsibilities and time lines, and plans to gather in the next three to four years. Strength, overcoming difficulties, advancing pragmatically, striving to complete various tasks, and summarizing experience in a timely manner, forming a demonstration, driving the comprehensive and high-quality development of the college, and adding luster to the sustainable and healthy development of the school.
