NOTICE ON UPGRADING THE "OFFICE 365" EDUCATION EDITION ACCOUNTS FOR ALL TEACHERS AND STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL

All teachers and students:

With the efforts of our school's data and information management center, the school and Microsoft have reached a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement, and the Office365 Education Edition A1 for students and faculty members has been approved to upgrade A1P permanent permissions. It is hereby decided that the original account migration and upgrade will be carried out successively from December 10, 2021 to January 10, 2022. During this period, it will be divided into three phases.

During the migration and upgrade, there may be the possibility that the data cannot be preserved. Teachers and students of all colleges (departments), campuses and directly affiliated (sent) institutions are requested to back up in advance; we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

If you choose not to participate in the migration or upgrade the faculty and students who continue to use the original account, please log in to osTicket :: Agent Login (apsb.edu.ky) to fill in the application or directly contact the Data and Information Management Center to request the preservation of the original account.

Tips:

There may be many problems in the migration and upgrade of the original account, such as duplicate user names, email security settings that prevent emails from being sent successfully, requiring users to reset their passwords, or prompts to re-bind two-step verification. To solve the above problems, please contact the Data and Information Management Center directly: info@apsb.edu.eu.

1: This upgrade to the full-featured version of Office365 Education, which supports activating Microsoft Office on Windows and MacOSX, and also supports Office365 on the Internet, IOS, and Android APP for seamless connection to office.

2: In view of the control of the number of accounts, if you no longer use it, please click "Delete" the account to facilitate new faculty and students to apply for use; repeated applications or multiple accounts under the same faculty and student ID are prohibited.

3: Activation process:

(1) Check the notice of phased migration and upgrade plan;

(2) Waiting for system notification of the completion of migration and upgrade;

(3) Log in to the account again (the original ID and password remain unchanged);

(4) View the authorized license;

(5) Download Microsoft Office or IOS, Android APP for Windows and MacOSX according to the official Microsoft guidelines;

(6) Connect to the Internet to activate;

(7) Faculty or students who need the educational version of Windows 10/11, please contact the Data and Information Management Center to request activation support: info@apsb.edu.eu.

4: This upgrade is limited to faculty and students of each college (department), campus and directly affiliated (sent) institutions (alumni, trainees, and remote students are not included in this plan).

5: Both faculty and students will get a cloud disk with 5TB permanent space on OneDrive (Microsoft Cloud Disk) at the same time (uploading, downloading or sharing should strictly abide by the relevant laws and regulations on network security in the country (frontier) where the school (department) and campus are located , Do not abuse).
