Announcement of Revised Graduate Supervisor Selection and Appointment Guidelines

To enhance the academic rigor and ethical standards of graduate supervision at The Asia Pacific School of Business, we are pleased to announce the release of the 5th Revised Edition of the Graduate Supervisor Selection and Appointment Guidelines and the updated 3rd Edition of the Procedure for Supervisor Selection and Qualification Accreditation.

These revisions align with global best practices from renowned institutions, incorporating stricter academic ethics requirements, refined selection criteria, and streamlined procedural guidelines. Key updates include:

• Enhanced emphasis on research integrity and mentorship responsibilities
• Clearer eligibility criteria for supervisor qualification
• Detailed protocols for annual performance review and renewal processes

Both documents are now effective immediately and apply to all current and prospective graduate supervisors. Faculty members are advised to review the guidelines thoroughly to ensure compliance with the new standards.
