Notice on Adding Hybrid Degree Education

All schools (departments), campuses, and teaching centers:

According to the "Several Suggestions on Adding Mixed Academic Degree Education" jointly submitted by the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost, the Graduate School, and the Graduate Admissions Office to the Academic Committee and the Degree Committee, after a temporary meeting, the decision was made and unanimously passed. The Asia Pacific School of Business follows academic ethics and morality, and according to the different characteristics of the laws and regulations of the country (border) where each school (department) and campus is located, it will be filed with the competent department or educational institution in batches and approved by the Board of Directors:

In order to maintain academic ethics and morality and curb the occurrence of academic misconduct, a "Mixed Academic Academic Ethics Supervision Committee" will be established;

The newly added Mixed academic degree courses will be taught and supervised in a dual-track 3/3/3/1 mode. Dual-track 3/3/3/1 model:

1) 30% online learning + 30% face-to-face learning + 30% practical study tour + 10% academic papers;

2) 30% professional courses + 30% academic courses + 30% practical courses + 10% professional papers;

3) This degree training model is limited to the Mixed system and will be implemented from February 20, 2025;

4) The teaching center does not have the training qualifications and is therefore not included in this scope.

The dual-track 3/3/3/1 model will adhere to the core ideas of course certification, education openness, and internationalization of teaching, and continue to optimize educational equity, so as to promote a new journey of open and distance higher education that adapts to the new situation and social needs.

Computer and artificial intelligence, business administration, engineering management (construction engineering management, medical engineering management, logistics engineering management, communications engineering management, big data and information engineering management, financial engineering management and energy and environmental engineering management), art (music and dance, fine arts and design, and journalism, communication, drama and film), philosophy (Chinese philosophy, foreign philosophy, philosophy of science and technology, and religious philosophy), religion (Buddhism, theology, Taoism), financial management, medical management, education management (education administration, education economics and management, higher education management), legal and business management; health management, medical aesthetics, traditional medicine, and Chinese medicine management.

Doctoral level additions:

According to the "Charter of the Asia Pacific School of Business", "Charter of Degree Awarding", "Teaching and Research Plan", "Student Academic Achievement Evaluation Method", "Degree Awarding Implementation Method", "Degree Awarding Quality Management System" and "Postgraduate Degree Thesis Review Procedure Method", our school will strictly follow academic standards, control academic quality and teaching management level, so as to make the newly added Mixed academic degree education a new education model recognized globally.
