Our school and Trade union University have reached a comprehensive strategic partnership
OUR SCHOOL AND TRADE union UNIVERSITY HAVE REACHED A COMPREHENSIVE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
At 9:00 a.m. on December 24, 2024, in the International Conference Room of Trade union University of Vietnam, Dr. Jianyin Yiyan, Rotating Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asia Pacific School of Business (APSB), led a delegation, including JD. Liu Binbin, Supervisor of the Supervisory Board of the Asia Pacific School of Business and Internal Audit Legal Officer, Ed.D. Gong Yufen, Director of Teaching and Research Management, Ms. Hoang Thi Anh, Member of the Board of Directors of the Asia Pacific School of Business and Director of Academic Affairs in Vietnam, and Ms. Duong Thi Thu Lan, Translator of the Academic Affairs Office of the Asia Pacic School of Business in Vietnam, at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung, President of Trade union University (TUU) under the Ministry of Education of Vietnam, to formally hold comprehensive talks on the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two schools. Dr. Duong Thi Thanh Xuan, Academic Vice President of Trade union University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hiep Thuong, Executive Vice President, Dr. Dang Hoang Ha in Director of Institute of International Cooperation and Training, and Deans and Directors of various schools (departments) attended the meeting, and Ms. Vu Minh Ngoc – IICT served as on-site recorder.
First, Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung, President of Trade union University (TUU), expressed warm welcome and sincere wishes to Dr. Jianyin Yiyan and his delegation to visit Hanoi, and to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two universities. At the same time, Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung introduced the members who participated in the comprehensive talks to the delegation one by one, and solemnly introduced the relevant status and video show of Trade union University to the delegation. He said: The Asia Pacific School of Business enjoys a high reputation in international academics, and has always adhered to the school-running philosophy and forward-looking thinking of open education, academic diversification, curriculum certification, and campus internationalization, which is worthy of learning by Vietnamese higher education institutions. As a national university under the Ministry of Education and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Trade union University has always insisted on applying what it has learned, committed to academic innovation, actively participated in international affairs and academic exchanges, introduced advanced academic courses and cultivated talents. Trade union University will rely on the international education concept of The Asia Pacific School of Business to implement and carry out joint education in Vietnam to promote the common development and mutual benefit of the two schools.
Dr. Jianyin Yiyan, rotating chairman of the board of directors of The Asia Pacific School of Business (APSB), introduced the development history of The Asia Pacific School of Business in detail to the colleagues of Trade union University, and fully demonstrated the honors The Asia Pacific School of Business has won internationally and the top international certifications it has obtained in academics. He said: As a national university under the Ministry of Education of Vietnam and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Trade union University enjoys a very high reputation in Vietnam. The Asia Pacific School of Business is honored to have reached a comprehensive strategic partnership with Trade union University. The Asia Pacific School of Business will fully cooperate with it in curriculum development system, academic quality management system, teaching and research system, and campus culture integration system, and promote the deep integration and sustainable development of the two schools.
During the meeting, Trade union University and The Asia Pacific School of Business discussed in depth and reached a comprehensive cooperation and co-construction at the following levels:
A/ Jointly recognized and implemented projects:
1). TUU and APSB aim to implement exchange programs for students and employees;
2). TUU and APSB jointly organize international conferences and cooperate in publications;
3). APSB provides Chinese language education and training for TUU students;
4). The two schools jointly build vocational training programs (50:50) and joint dual degree programs.
5). Jointly establish an independent joint graduate school affiliated to Trade union University.
B/ Potential areas of cooperation:
1). TUU and APSB aim to implement exchange programs for students and employees;
2). TUU and APSB jointly organize international conferences and cooperate on publications;
3). TUU and APSB organize internship programs for students specializing in IPOP and tourism.
4). The two schools jointly establish a student scholarship fund.
According to the relevant agreement, TUU designated the Institute of International Cooperation and Training to coordinate with academic institutions to clarify the content of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two schools. Trade union University will consult the leadership and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the proposal for comprehensive cooperation with The Asia Pacific School of Business, and report it to the Ministry of Education for review and pending legislative approval by the National Assembly.
After the meeting, the leaders of the two schools exchanged gifts and took photos with the participants.
