Our school held a signing ceremony for the appointment of master's and doctoral supervisors and school-enterprise cooperation in Beijing

On December 15, 2024, Our school held a grand ceremony in Beijing to appoint master and doctoral tutors and sign a contract for school-enterprise cooperation.

Professor Nie Xingguo, former vice minister of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China and current vice president of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association, and Dr. Liu Chunyan, professor of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and expert of the Third Affiliated Hospital, were invited to give special lectures. Dr. Jian Yinyiyan, rotating chairman of the Board of Directors, Professor Che Yanping, vice chairman of the Degree Committee and executive vice president, all newly appointed master's and doctoral supervisors, representatives of professional degree master's industry supervisors, and the main leaders of relevant functional departments and various graduate training units (bases) attended the event. Dr. Yong Shenyu, director of external affairs, presided over the event.

At the meeting, Professor Che Yanping, vice chairman of the Degree Committee and executive vice president, read out the appointment documents for doctoral supervisors, master's supervisors and professional degree master's industry supervisors.

Dr. Jian Yinyiyan, rotating chairman of the Board of Directors, issued appointment letters to representatives of newly appointed master's supervisors, doctoral supervisors and professional degree master's industry supervisors.

The newly appointed doctoral supervisor representative, Professor Song Shaojun, a famous Chinese medicine doctor in Shandong Province and Shandong Polytechnic College of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Professor Zhang Dianxue, Chairman of the National Minimally Invasive Technology Academic Committee and Distinguished Researcher of Peking University; Associate Professor Sun Meixiang, Director of Miaoheng Vascular Care Center and Chairman of Beijing Yueyi Shiguang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Associate Professor Yan Deyang, the newly appointed professional degree master's industry supervisor representative, Director of Hu Weiqin International Medical Center and Hu Weiqin's red wall imperial physician, took the stage to speak in turn.

In the training session, Dr. Jian Yinyiyan, the rotating chairman of the board of directors, gave a special lecture entitled "Starting from the "heart", insisting on the construction and development trend of traditional medicine and the combination of Chinese and Western medicine". Dr. Jian Yinyiyan started from the details of the complementary relationship between Chinese and Western medicine, and used modern technology to share the development trend and innovative experience and insights of traditional medicine (Chinese medicine) in a detailed and comprehensive manner, and guided the newly appointed graduate supervisors on how to establish a traditional medicine master and doctoral training system that conforms to the new era and new journey, and improve and optimize curriculum development and academic construction.

Finally, Dr. Jian Yinyiyan, the rotating chairman of the Board of Directors, presented the appointment letter of "Vice Chairman of the Academic Advisory Committee and Doctoral Supervisor" to Professor Nie Xingguo, former vice minister of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and Ministry of Culture, and current vice president of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association; Professor Che Yanping, vice chairman of the Degree Committee and executive vice dean, presented the appointment letter of "Chairman of the Traditional Medicine Academic Committee and Doctoral Supervisor" to Hu Weiqun, a national famous Chinese medicine doctor, who was the former chief physician of the Zhongnanhai Health Bureau, a full-time health physician for Commander-in-Chief Zhu De and Chairman Hua Guofeng, a special health physician serving many national leaders including President Nixon, Chairman Kim Il Sung and Prince Sihanouk during their visits to China.

The entire event was live-broadcast online, and all graduate student supervisors watched the appointment ceremony and training lectures.
