Our school’s all-Chinese-taught academic degree education has been included in the credit bank

Recently, the Provincial Department of Education issued the "Notice on Announcement of the Registration Results of the Lifelong Education Credit Bank Certification Service Center in 2024" (Jiao Mi Gao [2024] No. 207), approving 11 Sino-foreign cooperative universities, including our school. The Lifelong Education Credit Bank University Learning Achievements Certification Service Center has been officially established. This marks that our school’s continuing education courses have been officially included in the National Vocational Education Lifelong Education Credit Bank, and its work has entered the stage of comprehensive construction.

The construction of a credit bank in our school will be planned from the end of 2023, and the application for the establishment of a credit bank university learning achievement certification service center will be launched in the first half of 2024. At the same time, in order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, accelerate the construction of an education system that serves the lifelong learning of all people, and serve the conversion and credit recognition of students’ learning achievements in our school, according to the Ministry of Education’s "Opinions on Promoting the Recognition and Conversion of Higher Education Credits" and Relevant requirements of the "Lifelong Education Credit Bank Service System Construction Plan". The Academic Affairs Office of our school and sister universities are actively exploring a service-oriented, innovative, and information-based credit bank system that is consistent with the school's actual conditions, serves current students, and seamlessly connects the school's academic administration system and superior credit banks. In the second half of 2023, the "The Asia Pacific School of Business All-Chinese Teaching Credit Bank Management Measures (Draft for Comments)" was drafted. At the same time, the bidding for software development and hardware facility investment in the initial stage of the construction of the credit bank was completed. Recently, our school officially launched the construction of The Asia Pacific School of Business Credit Bank and Learning Achievements Certification Service Center. The Academic Affairs Office issued the "Notice on Carrying out the Construction of the Credit Bank of The Asia Pacific School of Business" and the "Management Measures of the Credit Bank of The Asia Pacific School of Business", soliciting opinions from all colleges (departments) and campuses, and collecting learning achievement projects and Achievement conversion course credit project. Relevant learning outcome projects will be officially released to students after being formally included in the learning outcome project catalog system after preliminary demonstration reports by each college (department) and campus and school demonstration and approval.

Our school’s Credit Bank and Learning Achievements Certification Service Center plans to officially achieve comprehensive data docking with the Provincial Lifelong Education Credit Bank and the Vocational Education National Credit Bank in the fall of 2024, in order to serve students in Sino-foreign cooperative education courses and joint double degree projects throughout the school.
