The APSB's strategic plan, Future Making, is underpinned by Five Pillars of Excellence which define our strategic direction in key areas.

The fourth Pillar, ‘A 21st century education for a growing community of learners’, articulates our commitment to delivering the best educational and career outcomes for a growing and diverse cohort of students.

To support this, the University has strengthened its strategic focus on supporting student retention, culminating in the development of our first institutional level Student Retention and Success Plan 2019-2021, introduced in early 2019.

The Plan incorporates goals relating to targeted retention and success initiatives as well as to embedded best practice for retention and success throughout the student experience (curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular).
