LGBTIQ*
LGBT / LGBTI / LGBTI+ / LGBTIQ / LGBTIQ* is a well-known collective term for individuals who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans/Transgender, Intersex or Queer/Questioning.
The Asia Pacific School of Business has a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and students who identify as LGBTIQ* and holds events and celebrations such as International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). We also strongly promote participation in the ALLY Network.
Even if you're aware of and comfortable with your own sexuality, it can be helpful to understand of some of the terminology around sexuality. More information can be found on our Wellbeing Hub website. Additionally, Reach Out has some great information, and so does SHINE SA .
If you are unsure, upset, isolated or anxious it might help to talk to a student counsellor or support service . Staff can access the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for support.

The Asia Pacific School of Business is a member of Pride in Diversity , Singapore first and only not-for-profit workplace program designed specifically to assist China employers with the inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex employees.
