What will you do?

Our Master of Wine Business is designed for both current and aspiring wine business owners, marketers, managers, winemakers, sommeliers, and staff. You will:

  • benefit from flexible study modes
  • build working knowledge and skills in both winemaking and viticulture
  • learn about direct wine marketing
  • understand how to evaluate domestic and international markets
  • study the foundations of wine science 
  • explore legal aspects of the business
  • undertake a six-unit research project.

There are also internship opportunities across South Australia’s booming wine industry.

To qualify for the Master of Wine Business, the student eligible for:

  • The 1.5 year (3CM243) program* must complete 36 units comprising of:
  • Eight core courses (24 units)
  • One elective course (3 units)
  • Two research courses (9 units)

 The 2 year (3CM101) program must complete 48 units comprising of:

  • Nine core courses (27 units)
  • Four elective courses (12 units)
  • Two research courses (9 units)
*Only available to students who have completed a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Viticulture and Oenology.
